Returning Political Control to Local Communities

Ever sit through a light cycle three or four times before you can get through an intersection? Or drive past land that used to be open and suddenly see 3-, 4-, even 5-story apartment buildings going up?

Those aren’t just random changes. Those are state legislators’ decisions being pulled further and further away from the people who actually live in our community

You and I share a common goal: making sure the decisions that shape our communities are made close to home, by the people who actually live here.

Right now, that’s changing. The Florida Legislature has been steadily taking power away from counties and cities—especially on issues like zoning—and shifting it to the executive branch and special districts that aren’t accountable to local voters.

It gets worse. Recent state laws now give developers the ability to sue local governments if they don’t like a decision. And if they win, taxpayers can end up paying their legal fees. That tilts the playing field away from residents and toward well-funded special interests.

That’s not how this is supposed to work.

From the beginning, our system of government was designed to keep power as close to the people as possible. The United States Constitution limits centralized power, and the Tenth Amendment makes it clear that authority should rest with the states and the people. Here in Florida, our own Florida Constitution reinforces the importance of local government control.

So this really comes down to a simple question:

Who should decide what your community looks like—your elected county or city officials, or someone in Tallahassee influenced by big donors?

I’m running because I believe those decisions belong at the local level—and I’m committed to fighting to restore that balance.

I’d truly appreciate your support as we work to keep control of our communities where it belongs—with those we elect to our county or city government.

Securing Health Freedom

Health Freedom means that you, most likely in consultation with your doctor, get to decide what treatments you want to undergo and what goes into your body, and those of your children, and not the government or the insurance company.

You can’t help but remember the hell the Biden Administration and their minions put the country through during the COVID event. Take the experimental “vaccine” or “bioweapon” (pick one) or lose your job, don’t enter a restaurant or most businesses and listen to masked blue-haired employees screaming: “6 feet apart!”

Bill Gates says that we will be having a new pandemic and it will be more deadly. Do you really want a “go along to get along” Senator in Tallahassee when the big money drug company lobbyists say you must lock the state down?

Stopping a 2nd U.S. Constitutional Convention

The Florida Legislature has voted 6 times to apply to the US Congress for the purpose of calling an Article 5 Constitutional Convention. These calls need to be repealed so that we do not lose any aspect of our rights guaranteed in the Bill of Rights, and other rights granted in the original text of the Constitution.

A new Constitutional Convention would be more like a Convention of Billionaires and their Surrogates, who want a New World Global Government to control us all. The World Economic Forum and the UN are promoting a world wide war on Free Speech. To be successful here in the US, they need to get rid of the First Amendment protections of Free Speech, Freedom of the Press and Religion. The fastest and easiest way to do that is an Article 5 Convention. Your Florida Legislature has voted to trigger one.

 Their actions must be reversed.

Understanding Conveyor Belt Leadership

One of the keys to understanding how Tallahassee works is “Term Limits”. Members of the Florida House & Senate can only serve 8 years in office before they are “Term Limited Out”. This may sound like a good thing, until you realize how this engenders “Conveyor Belt Leadership” which transfers power from the people to the Billionaire Class.

Here is how it works - for example; State Representative Jones is elected and goes to Tallahassee. So this is how it used to work; the first day he is approached by “leadership”. They tell him that he & the other Reps who were elected for the first time will have to vote for some Rep from their class (group) who will be the Speaker in 6 years (as long as they continue to be reelected).

Jones may not know any other Reps, but not to worry, leadership will tell him who to vote for. If he decides to vote for someone else, he is informed, no bill he ever submits will ever come up for a vote on the floor. Also, he may find is office is in the basement and he will not receive favorable committee assignments. In addition, the house political action committee may decide to fund his opposition in the next election. But, it is up to him. It is his vote. That is how it was done in the past.

Now the way it is done is the same as above, except that the vote is now taken in the second year of his term. Why? Because that allows leadership to access 2 things. One is how much money he raised for the machine during his first year and two did he ever have the audacity to vote other than as instructed by Leadership.

So, if Jones is a good little boy and follows orders for 6 years how independent do you think he will be in his last two years when he is thinking about what he is going to do next?

“Term Limits” transfers power from the people and the Reps to the Billionaire Donor Class who control the “Conveyor Belt Leadership” system through their control of “Donations”.
